Dr. Patrick Camilleri is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Malta, specializing in Initial and Further Teacher training programs within the Faculty of Education. His academic credentials include a B.Ed.(Hons) from the University of Malta, an M.Ed. in Science Education from the University of Sheffield, and an Ed.D. from the same institution. His expertise lies in Robotics and AI in education, ICT policy analysis, and the socio-cognitive processes that influence the development of new behaviors at the human/computer interface.
Dr. Camilleri's research interests encompass the construction and evaluation of socio-cognitive models that analyze perceptions regarding the usefulness and usage of technology. He is actively involved in the implementation of technologies in organizations, focusing on Digital Leadership skills. His contributions extend to various advisory roles, including serving on the Advisory Board for Informatics in Education and as a committee member for the eSkills Malta Foundation.
